IQ City Medical College and Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Durgapur, conducted a two-day programme for its first batch of interns on 23rd and 24th March, 2018. The programme was conducted by the aegis of the Medical Education Unit and coordinated by Dr. Asitava Deb Roy, Dy. Dean (Academics) under the supervision of Prof. Nandita Chattopadhyay, Coordinator, MEU and Brig. (Prof.) Gautam Ghose, Vice Principal.
The Programme started with a welcome address by the Principal, Air Vice Marshal Prof. (Dr.) Rajvir Bhalwar followed by an oath taking ceremony by all the interns. The programme then continued for two days with interactive sessions on diferrent important topics like Communication Skills, Medical ethics, Role of an Indian Medical Graduate, Standard Precautions in Healthcare and so on.
The programme was a huge success and was attended and appreciated by all the interns of the institute.
