Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Shan S Ratnam Young Gynaecologist Award (AOFOG) 2017

Dr Indranil Dutta, Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, IQ City Medical College, Durgapur, WB has been recently awarded the prestigious Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Shan S Ratnam Young Gynaecologist Award (AOFOG) 2017 given during the President’s night of the 25th AOFOG Conference held in Tung Yuen Banquet, Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong, on 15th June 2017.

Asian and Oceanic Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG) is an association of 28 member countries including New Zealand and Australia. The AOFOG Young Gynaecologist Award is given to the one who has best Article publications in reputable journals, Conference Presentations, Academic Activity, Academic achievements, Organizational capacity from each country every second year.

This time Dr Indranil Dutta was not only the winner of AOFOG Award 2017, he also had topped Indian candidates (the second best being from AIIMS). His paper was also selected for presentation in top 10 category, and also he was the only candidate who had been selected for Community fellowship attachment in various hospitals around Hong Kong.”
